Indemnity Form

Guests and visitors accept that they partake in all the activities including but not limited to: horse riding, game drives, quad bikes and hiking safari at their own risk.

I hereby acknowledge that I am well acquainted and fully aware of and appreciate the real dangers and risks animals/reptiles, birds and insects and the real risk of suffering bodily harm, injury, death and/or loss to property which may arise as a result of the activities and/or the presence of wild animals and/or reptiles and/or insects whilst on the premises or property of the Reserve.

I hereby waive all claim/claims of whatsoever cause or nature, whether being a negligent nature or not, or loss, howsoever arising against the owner of the Reserve, their associates, servants, employees and any person connected whether directly or indirectly with the running of the Reserve and fellow guests/invitees which might have arising out of harm, injury, death or loss suffered whilst on the premises of the Reserve and whether arising from an act of commission or omission on the part of those hereby indemnified or anyone of them.

I therefore indemnify and hold harmless and free, the owner of the Reserve, their associates, servants and employees and any person connected whether directly or indirectly with the running of the Reserve and fellow guests invites from any and all claims of whatsoever cause or nature which may arise on behalf of my spouse/common law wife/husband, my children, whether minor or adult, or relatives and/or persons accompanying me to the Reserve whether as my invitee otherwise or at all who suffer injury or loss whilst on the premises or property of the Reserve and whether arising from an act of commission or omission on the part of those hereby indemnified or anyone of them.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. The making of fire outside of the allocated sites & braai areas are prohibited.
2. Collection of any firewood, plant material or natural vegetation is not allowed.
3. Please do not drive or U-turn off already existing tracks. NO DRIVING ON RESERVE WITH PRIVATE VEHICLES EXCEPT TO LODGE AND COTTAGES.
4. As the Karoo is a fire risk, please do not throw burning/smouldering objects, like cigarette butts, out of a car window.
5. Please do not litter.
6. Keep music soft & consider the wildlife & fellow guests at all times.
7. Use water sparingly, as it’s a rare commodity in the Karoo.
8. No firearms allowed on the Reserve.
9. Please close all gates after passing through.
10. No refund for any services deemed or considered inadequate or not provided will be considered, though every effort will be made by the management of Aquila to provide the best service at all times.
11. No unattended children at the pool area.
12. Horse and Quad Biking activities for over 16 years only.

In the event of injury the Reserve may at its discretion and without prejudice and without admission of liability arrange and pay for emergency medical treatment for and on behalf of any guest.
