Rhino Conservation

Aquila provides free anti-poaching training to game reserves throughout South Africa.

Saving Private Rhino is an initiative which was established after 2 rhino where brutally killed and de-horned on the Aquila Private Game Reserve. The initiative has been set up to ensure the future conservation of Africa’s rhino and wildlife heritage.

Aquila has ensured a R30m ivory arrest, the largest ever in the Western Cape. On another occasion, two Zambian Nationals trying to sell a baby rhino horn covered in blood were captured, and was the first arrest in the Western Cape, ever, in these circumstances.

Aquila provides free anti-poaching training to game reserves throughout South Africa.
