Recruitment Coordinator

Aquila is in search of a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork including general Human Resources skills.
Responsibilities
  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
  • Develop job descriptions/specifications and ensuring that these are up to date and accurately describe each position within the organisation and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and other relevant media sites.
  • Source candidates by databases and social media also internal and external advertising of vacancies within the organisation.
  • Evaluate and screen Curriculum Vitas’ and cover letters.
  • Review curriculum vitas and obtain candidates personal information, identity document/passport and consent for background checks.
  • Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidate’s skills.
  • Conduct phone, skype and in person interviews.
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Helping the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
  • Contact new employees and prepare induction processes.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.
  • Conduct market related compensation studies.

  • Proven work experience as a recruiter with a minimum of 5 years experience

Reservations Consultant

Aquila is in search of a passionate Reservations Consultant to assist clients in making travel arrangement for both business and holiday purposes. He/she will be able to provide quotes to clients to find the best value options available and make bookings for transport, accommodation and sightseeing at our Reserve.
Responsibilities
  • Processing bookings telephonically
  • Emailing and faxing clients booking confirmation
  • Charging credit card forms and emailing clients updated confirmation and filing thereof
  • Issuing clients with Tax Invoices for payment
  • Creating daily Arrivals list for Clients
  • Checking and signing off bookings made and arrivals for the following day
  • Follow up on all outstanding debtors
  • Innkeeper Experience advantage
  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Minimum of 2 years experience

Executive Housekeeper

Aquila is in search of a responsible Executive housekeeper to control all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department in a small but busy hotel of 80 rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning responsibilities of housekeeping team
  • Maintain relationships with all employees in their department
  • Handle all personnel issues within their department
  • Dealing with hospitality suppliers: linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies, such as soap, aftershave, etc.
  • Administrative tasks like controlling budgets supply costs, laundry, maintenance of equipment
  • Organising staff schedules
  • Reporting on overseeing stock-takes, budgets and other paperwork, such as maintenance reports and safety audits
